Chae-byul, a computer animator, and Han-su, a stockbroker, are lovers. In
order to advance in his position, however, Han-su promises to marry Hyun-
ju, the daughter of his firm's president, and breaks up with Chae-byul. Out of
rage at being betrayed, Chae-byul 'voluntarily' throws herself into an
oncoming subway train. But the fact of the matter was, her suicide was
devised by two recruiting agents of the 'Death by Suicide Society'. Having
fallen for the agents' contention that she can revenge Han-su' betrayal,
Chae-byul joins a group of ghosts who are able to cross between heaven
and earth. A female ghost who was victim to a brutal rape presses Chae-
byul to kill Han-su out of revenge; another ghost member, Cantorates
persuades her to hold back her emotions. Chae-byul discovers that
Cantorates is a recruiting agent in search of his ex-lover, Young-eun, who
disappeared after blaming herself for a failed surgical procedure by which
Cantorates eventually dies. Evading the recruit agents who are desperate to
put her into eternal demise, Chae-byul heads towards Cheju Island under
the protection of Cantorates, Who in turn finds his love Young-eun there. This
unexpected occurrence the situation to enter a new phase.
